Our international activities
International mobility is a central part of our educational approach.
We organise and participate in a wide range of activities, including student exchanges, study trips and staff mobility programmes. These activities are closely linked to our vocational training in logistics and security.
International exchange programmes
Canada – Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC)
Description:
Long-term cooperation with NSCC including student mobility and practical training experiences in Canada.
Activities:
- practical insights into port and maritime logistics
- exchange with Canadian students and staff
- training in real working environments

Port study trip: Rotterdam – Antwerp – Zeebrugge
Description:
Annual study trip for vocational students focusing on the comparison of major European ports.
Activities:
- visits to port terminals and logistics facilities
- analysis of international logistics processes
- cooperation with partner institutions
Job shadowing and training
Description:
Teachers regularly participate in international job shadowing and training activities.
Examples:
- Spain (Basque Country)
- France
- other European partners
Focus:
- exchange of teaching practices
- development of vocational training concepts
- strengthening international cooperation
LONG-TERM EXPERIENCE
BS27 has a long tradition of international activities and mobility.
Example: Nicaragua (until 2017)
Description:
Long-term international cooperation and study visits, currently paused due to the political situation in the region.
